Giveaway Time

In July, I reached 200 posts and passed my blogiversary. I intended to do a giveaway, but wasn't in a place to do it then. But I'm now ready. As I'm off in the woods of Vermont for the weekend, it seems like a good time to post the giveaway and give people a chance to enter.

The Giveaway
So what can you win? I wanted to make sure those who craft and those who admire crafts could enter and win something they would enjoy. Thus I'll give away 2 different things, fabric for the crafty types and a made-by-2hippos-scarf for everyone.

First, the fabric:

About a 1/2 yard of Aviary (not Joel Dewberry, another Aviary), at least a FQ of Michael Miller's Dazzle Daisy in green, and some other fabric goodies to be determined.

Second, the scarf:

This scarf features some Joel Dewberry (Chestnut Hill) and Michael Miller (Dazzle Daisy) fabric as well as the fun black & white print to the left and the gorgeous green and blue print in the middle. I received the latter from swaps and don't know their makers, but they're both very soft and wonderful.

I will choose the winners in some random fashion at some point on Wednesday, September 2.

    Oh my gosh, I'm terrible at decisions....the fabric is lovely, but the scarf is way cool too! If you force me, I guess I'm in it for the fabric....congrats on 200th post! Laura

    Oh, I forgot....something that makes me happy....hearing about my son's success at college. I do nothing but worry but he is awesome and turning into a wonderful young man. That makes me happy.

    Happiness? Slightly cooler days and nights. Two musical children in my house singing and one playing mandolin. Several full nights sleep. Cauliflower casserole I made up. I could on...

    I would love to win the fabric ...its lovely. What makes me happy lately is that my wrist has finally stopped aching from when I broke it a month ago. I had a day where I didnt have to take pain killers Yay!! But other than that there is a lot of things that make me happy, like all things natural :)

    That scraft is lovely! But I'm building my fabric stash for my next project so I'll go for fabrics.

    I am so happy that my little one is turning 1 in a couple of weeks and I finished his quilt =) It's the first one I've finished too.

    I love the fabrics, although the scarf is awfully nice too ... I'm happy about the entertaining little kid kicking away in my belly, and about working on teeny little knitting projects for him.

    Congratulations on 200 posts and the bloggiversary. Since I haven't had the chance to add to my stash, I would pick the fabric, but the scarf is so unusual. Right now what makes me happy is that the weather in August has been between 50 degrees at night and low 80's during the day. We don't do air conditioning and this has been such a blessing, I was dreading this month but it has been so nice after all. Thanks for the chance!!!!!
